3 Easy Ways To Turn Your
Ordinary Fitness Articles Into
Powerful List Building Tools

One of the easiest and most common ways to promote your fitness business is writing fitness related articles.  That’s nothing new.

But did you know you can use those same fitness articles to quickly build your fitness mailing list?

1.        1.  Find a Hot Fitness Topic To Write About

Obviously, without a hot fitness topic to write about, you stand little chance of building anything – a list included.  So, the first order of business is to find a topic your target market will actually WANT to read about.  Here are 2 really easy ways to do just that…

Fitness Forums

Visit any of the popular fitness forums and take a look thru all the posts people have made.  Normally, most forums will show you how many times each post has been viewed, and more importantly, how many replies have been made to each post.

Any time you find a post with a lot of views and a lot of replies, you know that’s a hot topic.  People are actively discussing it, so that makes a perfect topic for an article.

Ask Your List What They Want

Another super easy way to find out what your target market wants to read about is simply to ask them.  Send an e-mail to your list asking them to tell you what topics they’re most interested in, or what they want to see covered in your newsletter.

Once you’ve found a hot topic your target market wants to read about, write your article as normal.  Once your fitness article is written, now it’s time to use it to build your mailing list…

2.        2.  Use Your Resource Box The RIGHT Way

A resource box is the place at the end of your article where you get to say a little blurb and provide a link.

Most people use their resource box to talk about themselves.  They go on about their education or how long they’ve been in business, or what company they own.  Then they either provide a link to their home page or to a sales page for a product/service.

Totally wrong!

NEVER use your resource box like that!  NEVER!

Instead, use your article’s resource box to build your mailing list.  The most important thing you could ever do for your fitness business is build a mailing list to promote your business to.  The resource box is one of the best chances you’ll ever get to do just that.

Use your resource box as a natural extension of your fitness article – a way to provide even more great information on this topic your reader is already interested in – and link them to one of your opt-in pages.

This way, you’re taking someone who’s interested in what you have to say, and you’re adding them to your mailing list so you can continue to make offers to them.

 

3.        3.  How To Capitalize On Hot Fitness Topics

Once you’ve found a hot fitness topic, there’s a simple way to take full advantage of that topic to build your list and promote your fitness products, services, and affiliate programs…
